Progressive supranuclear palsy, or PSP, is an atypical parkinsonian syndrome (Parkinson-plus disorder) typically characterized by progressive, early-onset postural instability, frequent (unexplained) falls, problems with eye movement, axial (involving neck or trunk) rigidity, speech/swallow difficulty, and cognitive decline.
