• The fact that the placebo effect has a strong influence on those living with Parkinson’s disease and the implications this has for health and wellness in the long term.
• Autonomic Nervous System – The system that regulates the function of internal organs and acts largely unconsciously controlling bodily functions such as heart-rate, respiration, pupillary response, urination, etc. It is also the primary mechanism of controlling a human’s fight or flight response.
• Krebs cycle – The sequence of reactions by which most living cells produce or generate energy during the aerobic exercise. This process takes place on a cellular level in the mitochondria where oxygen is consumed resulting in the production of carbon dioxide and water as waste products. The end result is the conversion of ADP to energy-rich ATP.
